Gold and Jewelry Committee discussing duplication in the payment of customs duties between Gulf Countries
Gold and Jewelry Committee of Asharqia Chamber discussed during its meeting the proposal of hosting a number of officials in relevant government agencies to discuss the sector issues and the accompanying activities of trade and industry, import and export, during the meeting which was held Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Chamber in Dammam.
Nevertheless; Committee discussed the proposal meet with specialists in quality control and GCC Customs Union to discuss several issues relating to the examination of gold and quality, and the issue of duplication in the payment of customs duties that may take place when imports from the GCC.
Meanwhile, members of the Committee chose both of Mohammed Bin Ali Al Hamad as Chief of the Committee, and Abdulhadi Al Mohammad as his representative.
